My husband and i have been looking into homes. We found two home we really like but they are out of our price range the other homes in our price range dont have the nessicary store that we want. One home is listed at 325,000 and it is 4 bed 2 bath on six acres with a 1,976 sqft This home boasts 6 acres of serene beauty with views of the Ruby Mtns. The 6 acres is fully fenced with three-rail white vinyl with no climb wire. Automatic Custom Front Gate with remotes. desert Landscaped front yard. It has a wonderful lawn with sprinklers, and every the trees are on a drip system. It has a deck with a built in hot tub and a big patio as well. as you can look, there is a extra big dbl garage plus a 40 x 60 store with 14 ft doors. There are 2 pellet stoves, 1 in the home an 1in the garage. There is a stereo system in the garage and backyard. Huge office and work out room. Some closets are custom designed. the home also has electric heat, can be converted to propane. Central air. Air compressor in garage is built in and stays, air hose & cabinets also stay. Entertainment middle… Show more in the lining room with plasma TV, surround sound/DVD player stays. Trampoline and swings stay. The refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher and a big upright freezer stay. " thats there blurb on the website. Its been on the market five months and still no price drops or anything. Home similar to this one have sold for around 180- 220. A brand new home with no fence and no landscape but is brand new and 3200 sqft including an unfinished basement is listed for 254,000 on 5 acres. I asked my relator to look at the home and she acted like she didnt want to show me a home out of my price range, i want to make an offer on the home but dont know what is too low, how do i find what the home bought for years ago. it was built in 1997. I want to make an offer of 230,000. Is that considered too low 100,000 off their asking price. I tried to talk to my relator and she just tells me " she cant tell us that information, or she doesnt know, or their relator wont give that information out" its a tiny town and we dont want to receive another relator since we would look her in time to arrive. do you think 230 is a fair offer if we gift it with similar homes in the area selling for less? Resolved Question: i cant hear any sounds on my computer!!!!!?

I have a Presario SR215ONX. It came with windows vista home basic but due to viruses i had to downgrade it to windows xp pro. I cant hear anything not even on my headphones. The little speaker icon in the taskbar doesnt arrive up either. Even when i go to start/every programs/accessories/entertainment/volume control it says i have no mixer device installed and to to go to control panel hardware and add new hardware i did both of those things and neither worked. My device manager is up to date as well. Anyone know how to fix this?!?!?!

Open Question: My 6 years old Siamese cat who has always been indoors can't take it any more and wants to be outdoors!!?

He has always wanted to go out, but we did not let him as we were living in Egypt and conditions there are less than ideal for a cat to go outdoors. He used to sob a lot but as he could not look the outside really he would give up after a while. Last year we have moved to Vancouver in a home and he can look the outside every the time. We let him out as we really had no objection to him going out and it looked pretty safe. However we started getting complaints from neighbors that he would sit every day at their yards and refuse to leave, also growling at them if they insist. Some others complained that he has attacked their cats or dogs. We took him to the vet who put him on medication to calm down but still same attitude. Finally the vet advised to keep him strictly indoors and keep him on the medication for a while for him to accept his surroundings. For a year we have done that, and created every sorts of entertainments at home like toys, outside enclosure, water fountain, harness. leash ..etc Closed curtains as much as possible .. Inspite of every our efforts our cat still cries as difficult as ever to go out and I just came back from the vet's clinic because he got some nice of skin rash at his back sighs because of stress, as the vet explained. She wants to have him on a higher dose but its ridiculous ...I don't know what to do .... - My cat is fixed since he was 1 year old - I have already tried the harness and leash. He hates it and will sob loudly when put on it and will not move from his place. We tried that every last summer! - he also has an outdoor enclosure that he can go in and out of it as he pleases. Resolved Question: Wii Games? Help Me Choose!?

I bought Sims Animals today. It's fun, but it's more of an "entertainment" game than a "game" game. I bought a wii gun for my wiimote today. So just saying, if that helps you answer. Anyways, I nice of would want a "game" game before I receive an "entertainment" game. Even though I already have Wii Sports and Rabbids Go Home. There were 3 other games I was considering at the store. They were: 1. Carnival Games 2. Call of Duty Modern Warfare (I already have this for my Xbox 360, but I LOOOVVEEE it so much) 3. Voting Question: Is Playstation trying to upstage Toyota?

Seriously...If their network is down, why are playstations getting hardware mistake codes. The instructions of the codes then tell people to reformat drives...I've read people are redoing their entire home networks trying to resolve issues that every ps3 owners are having... Now I find out that you cant even play the majority of games because of trophy links to network or stream to your entertainment systems. Meanwhile, Playstation doesn't answer their phones or even put up a post to explain whats going on. VERY Y2Kish.

Resolved Question: Why are YouTube videos loading slowly on my laptop?

My fiance and I both bought brand new laptops, they are both Acer Aspires although the specs are mine are much better (designed for gaming), anyway I am very glad with the performance on both thus far except for one thing. YouTube videos seem to go extremely slow, very choppy, and it's making me frustrated as I watch them quite a bit. We both run Windows 7 Home Premium and we have a very good wireless connection, no issues with any other nice of connectivity. My gaming and other media entertainment is very smooth and quick. We've tried using Internet Explorer, FireFox and Opera (every up to date) and none of the web browsers make a difference. As far as I know we have the latest media codecs, and I know it isn't a YouTube site problem because the videos load and work just fine on my work computer with outdated web browsers and inferior specs. So what exactly could be causing this?

Resolved Question: my apartment's outlets are not grounded?

So I just moved to a new apartment (well the apt isn't new but you receive what im saying) and I plugged my belkin 12 outlet surge protector into my wall and it lights up as both 'grounded' (green) and 'not grounded' (red). In my old apartment it would only light up as 'grounded' so does that mean this 3 prong outlet has faulty wiring? Should I buy a receptacle tester to look if it is in fact grounded? I ask because my 40" lcd tv and xbox 360 as well as my home entertainment system will be plugged into this surge protector and I want to make sure that my outlets are grounded. If I find out that this 3 prong outlet is in fact not grounded properly, are there any building codes that require the apartment complex to ground it properly? This isn't 'that' old of an apartment complex that it's falling apart or anything, but it's not entirely new either. On a side note, I just put the surge protector into the other outlet in the room and it only shows up as 'grounded', and the same happens for the other wall too. I have 4 outlets in one room and the one closest to the tv is the one that shows up as both grounded and not grounded. Am I thinking too much into this? Will this even cause any problems?...I guess I 'can' just use one of the ones that shows up as grounded..

Open Question: How do I prove to this guy that I am not "waaaay out of his league?"?

(Check out my previous question called "Does this guy sound like he likes me?" for more information..) So everyone who responded to that question I just listed said YES, he likes me, and one person said that if a guy is checking me out/staring at me, that means he thinks I'm cute but they also said that he probably thought I was out of his league. How do I make it so that the guy doesn't think I'm out of his league? (Also I need explaining for what that even means, lol. I think it means literally difficult-to-receive...) We're both 13 years old. Also, he doesn't stare at me as much and is always blabbing away at girls close me or, today after school right as I got in my car he started chatting away with two of my friends, saying something either silly or "impressive." Is he trying to receive me jealous? Because I hate that. (GUYS: Never try to make a girl jealous! If they like you back, it'll hurt them slightly and although they may know you're likely trying to make them jealous, it's still not a good way to find out if they like you.) Anyways, yeah... how do I make him not think I'm out of his league? We have stuff in common when it comes to entertainment. (Video games, LOL) Not only that, maybe he thinks I'm not free because my neighbor who's also my age (I'll call him Bob) likes me, and the whole grade knows that because... well, long story. Resolved Question: How to fix a laptop in the following situation?

I have an ASUS A6000. I'll describe the specs for it later, first of every - the problem. The thing is, yes I can watch movies on it, play PC games and FO games (Free Online), just do everything I'm supposed to. Good. The problem is I have Fallout 3, and I wanna play it good. It does on LOWEST quality. However, there's a glitch which freezes the screen and some nice of lines (??? Holy ... ???) appear on the screen. It looks like ants moving on one direct line (except they don't have round bodies and legs and anything - just straight edgy line) in one direction - up or down. The direction differs, from up to down and so on in the same style (up, down, up, down, up, down...). It's colour is yellow. Now, you might suspect the thing to be of my computer being to slow for the game - it glitched when I put textures on middle when I needed to create my character outlook in the way that the screen freezes, and then turns black. So! When I put the textures on low, it worked fine without freezes for short periods of time etc... Until the "line" problem approached the damn broken laptop. You might know the game of World in Conflict, a 2007 PC by Massive Entertainment AB (something like that). I had put quality on min, targeting the performance, not the graphs, and the same "line" problem appeared. Except they were white. By the way, I bought my laptop in 2007, so it shouldn't glitch really because I could easily (something like that) try to max it out and it would run fluently on mid. But it glitched with lines!!! AAAH I'm mad and hungry!!! (It glitches in another way as well - when I browse Internet (rarely), when I watch films (often), and when I play games (even 2004 ones) (very often). NOW, the screen freezes, and soon a blue screen appears - it says the steer (or something like that, though the films I watch are installed, no CD is inside and so are the games because I usually rent one from shops and the other from friends, download it, sometimes crack and ta dam!!!) got stuck in an infinite loop and I have to contact the admin bilabial-bla, but I won't because he's probably dead by now. After that the comp turns off. After a spec came he cleaned the crap ventilator because the laptop overheated often and it burned my hand, so those glitches (not line ones) started appearing more often and the laptop restarted instead of just turning off. AND, he reinstalled the OS from Windows XP Home Edition SP (service pack) 2 to XP Professional SP 3. That might deform the comp somehow.) My specs: CPU: AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology MT-34 CPU speed: (note: I have Power 4 Gear, controlling the thing. Here you go:) silent office mode: 800MHZ, Game mode: 1.65GHZ, Super Performance mode: 2.34GHZ (goes for that one only). RAM: 1 GB. OS: Already told you. Video card: (I think it glitches with "lines" because of the video card) ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 (0x71C5) Video card RAM: 512 MB 3D (Video card attributes): YES Hardware T&L: YES Pixel shader version: 3.0 Vertex shader version: 3.0 Soundcard: Yeah. Voting Question: Am I the only one who feels this way?

Sometimes I feel like there's nothing left to do in life. Like life is boring. I'm not the type of person who easily gets mad, but I hold it in. My parents are overprotective, in saying which: I don't receive to go outside alone, I'm in an online school, I don't receive to go outside alone, (even my backyard,) and I don't receive to pick my possess type of entertainment. This frustrates me, even so to the point in which I go into my room, crawl below my bed, and just sob, and giggle. I don't know why I giggle, I just do. This rarely happens and when it does, thoughts rush through my head, I can't even describe what they are because they are moving so quick. I also experience insomnia. The worst part is, when this happens I feel Deja'vu. Basically I feel restrained, confined, unable to escape. Usually when I go far away from home, like on a campout, even if I'm having a horrible time, I feel glad that I'm away from home. I feel like I have no control. To keep my anger in control, I just giggle. Sometimes, tears stream down my face while I giggle. Is there something wrong with me? I had another breakdown and now I feel worse than ever, I feel like it's the world against me. I hate this.

Dear readers, I want to know what you think of my inner dilemmas and thoughts and what I can do about this... I have noticed an inherent problem in me..I don't particularly like being around people and havng to make an effort to make conversation and I'm not much of a social go-getter but yet I want to feel loved and want ppl to want to make friends with me and have lovely friends around me. I want friends that I guess I want something for doing not much and for ppl to just accept me for me...A miserable twit! But so far, have realised this doesn't work. If I make an effort to meet ppl it's not bad but I feel bored and exhausted by the end of it! Its every very nice nice! To compensate for not having to make a huge effort, I follow my husband around wherever he goes. He is one of those people that gets on with everyone and anyone...unless they are stuck up pigs. Whereas with me...well, people have a feeling that I am nice and nice and I stay out of trouble..I am seen as decent..BUT I dont start the whole thing off and I'm not the most exciting person to be around. My husbands whole family are the opposite...every very social so when we have guests over, I receive frustrated cos I dont really have much to say and feel that I am boring! but that is the way I am and its difficult to accept I guess...I often receive worried that if I bring the few friends that I have, they will like my hubby and his parents more that me as they are more social and interesting... I don't attract the sorts of friends that I had hoped for..I always wanted friends that were different to me, gorgeous ppl who I could rely on, learn from, have fun with (well, they give me the entertainment) who were dependable and liked me for me... well, so far I haven't found any of that and it's an absolute effort to make friends! When I invite my current friends out on a whim, its like a huge effort for me! I think I've dug myself a hole and can't receive out of it...it seems I only go out when hubby wants to go out with me as he can do everything..the convos, the excitement and I'm just really there for pure entertainment...truth is I'm really just not one of those ppl that like to make that effort. I guess I sometimes feel these 'social' ppl are actually quite fake..even when I look my hubby sometimes I think he makes such a blo&dy effort to receive to know ppl but then again, he knows more ppl, has more friends and gets out more... What is it with me? Why can't I make friends without making a huge effort and be around ppl that can entertain me? i'm like a recluse... I just dont know what to do... I feel like I should be like my hubby and be social every the time, but you know what, sometimes I just can't be bothered. Im just not a people person...when there are group convos going on, I'm like the silent one who gives one word inputs but nothing entertaining. Im not that silly...though my husband differs and thinks I am..I think he just finds my doppiness silly I just don't know what to do... Open Question: How much should I be paid as a part time nanny for 3 special needs children on long Island?

I nanny on the weekends typically from 11am til 9pm on both saturday and sunday. I am responsible for feeding them lunch and dinner and taking them out of the home for entertainment. I use my possess vehicle and I am asked to keep them out of the home until its time to put them to bed. I then bring them home and give them their medicine and receive them into bed. every 3 of the kids are high functioning autistics. Hi , i've been uncertain for quite some time right now , that i adore both music and arts , where both are in the entertainment industry , and i'm a working 21 year old in a film industry , and i work on weekdays , and usually when i receive home after work , i spend some time to learn music , playing with my guitar , singing , and tried recording some of my vocals , since i thought of becoming an indie artist at time being , while the most efficient hours i can really receive to practice my music are especially on the weekends , so even when I'm out with my family for breakfast or dinner , i'll bring with me books regarding music , so i could have every the input i need and i don't have to worry bout wasting my time even when i'm not at home , the problem is , my family would start thinking i'm spending too much time over what i like to do now rather than spending more time with them in the weekends , which makes me think that i'm in a situation where i'm putting my family aside , which is not true , because i'm trying difficult now to fill up the time i have i could use for helping me out in the future , but does this makes me a greedy person in general like what my family would think about me ? I am an American in my 20's considering moving to Berlin for a 2 year contract. I will be paid in euros, and am trying to figure out my cost of living, although I will state it now in dollars. I will be living in the Mitte area, with apartment cost covered. I was wondering how comfortably I could live on $17,000 for an entire 12 month year in Berlin. This would mainly include food, gym (I need a nice gym), and entertainment/money for weekend. I make most food at home and eat out about twice a week in a moderately priced restaurant. I go out to a bar about once a week but do not buy more than 2 drinks. I think I am a generally frugal person, but was wondering if I would have to struggle with $17,000 for a year after apartment costs. Open Question: Fourteenth birthday party, any ideas?

My fourteenth birthday is later on this month, on the 24th, and I really want to have this party. There isn't really a lot to do around my town (as far as birthday parties go) other than McDonalds and this crappy bowling alley with bad food. I don't really want to lug everyone to some place anyway, so I can keep the cost relatively low for my mom. Then I thought, "I have a big yard - why not have the thing outside?" Which seems like a good idea to me, only with one issue - I have no clue what I'd do for entertainment. Music is a given, but i don't have a stereo that doesn't need to be plugged in to a wall, plus the last CD I bought was Radio Disney when I was like, seven. My mom has CDs, but they're every Christian gospel and rock. (Don't receive me wrong - I adore Christian rock. But I have three Wiccan, Athiest, and Jewish friends, and I like being politically correct. My pal Meehan has this speaker-thing that she can plug her ipod in to but again - needs a plug. So music poses a problem, as far as having a party outdoors goes. Not to mention that there might still be some snow on the ground from our last blizzard, and although it's been getting a lot warmer within the past week, I'm having a difficult time having faith in the weather. Then I thought about having it inside my home - that way it's nice and warm, and we can have music. But then I tried picturing 9 or 10 teenagers crammed in to my first floor and I became a little wary of the idea. My best pal Meehan has a nice patio and patio furnature, and a nice flat lawn for tables and such - and her backdoor is close enough so that we could have a plug-in stereo going and still...party. But I'd feel uncomfortable asking her about it. So, every in every, I really need your help. What should I DO? A home-party would be less expensive, but my home doesn't really accomodate that idea, and the best place for my party is my friends home, and I don't even know how to ask her, or if I even SHOULD. Resolved Question: HELP! Our cat is pooping all around the house and not in the littler box!?

We adopted two cats less than a week ago from a shelter, two neutered males around 8 months old. They were with a foster home and the foster mom said they were great and never had an accident with the litter box. We brought them home and the first day and two nights were fine they were using their box and there were no accidents. After their second night with us we woke up in the morning to poop every over the living room behind the sofa and along the entertainment middle. Not sure what to do we placed their litter box in the bathroom and left them in there for the day. We returned home and there was poop every where in the bathroom except in their box. I read up and people mentioned two boxes helped. We went out and purchased another box and that day they were good, and we even noticed one in their doing his business. The next morning there was once again poop every over our living room and bathroom.. what should we do? My husband wants to return them to the pound but I do not want to do that with out trying everything we can first. We have two little boys 2 and 3 so we don't think its healthy for them if they won't cease pooping where they play. HELP! I am using clumping litter, and the boxes are in our bedroom where the kids are do not go. We have one covered and one uncovered so they have the privacy. Resolved Question: Is this a good gaming & long term use laptop?

Will this hurt me within the next 4 or so years? I don't need any more harddrive space, so that's not an issue (plus I have an external). Could have bluetooth for $25 more but I don't think I'll really need that... Asking price is just below $700. Sale ends monday so the price will shoot up soon. Is this a good price? The primary game I want to play is the Sims 3 but I might receive into other games, who knows. Most importantly, is this laptop good enough to keep up with technology for the new few years? I can't afford a new laptop often so I want something that will stand the test of time as things keep changing. I look some cheaper but they have much slower processors, less RAM and graphics and I'm wondering how long they will keep up. My laptop is my main source of entertainment (I watch every my TV off the internet) so graphics might matter there too, I dunno. BTW, I'm NOT a gamer at every. Just the Sims 3. But I'm just saying I might find a game or two I might wanna play. My most important things are is the price good and are these specs things that will last a few years. Oh and it must be a laptop. I have no space for a desktop.

Open Question: Closing for an essay?!?!?! HELP!!?

We have to do an essay on technology in english and i'm doing mine on the flaws of laptops and how to improve them, and I'm completely stumped for a closing. Here's what I have so far: P.S. dont read it if it means you dont want to answer because you have to read a long thing. just skip to the bottom. Laptops Comptuters are a huge advance in the world today. They are useful for many things, like research, a source of entertainment, and even shopping. Society depends so much on computers, in fact, that it's difficult to imagine what life would be like without them now. And I agree, but there are many flaws that could be improved. I'm going to start with durability. Why do some computers have to be so breakable? You could be typing up information for a project one minute, and be picking up the broken pieces of your laptop the next. There are some pretty durable computers out there, but, let's be reasonable. Not a lot of people can afford 2,000 dollar laptops. I have always wanted a tablet PC, which if you don't know, is the laptop with the screen you can flip over and write on. I think it would be great if we could include this feature in a regular laptop or desktop computer, and with a push of a button you'd have a tablet PC. This is something I think could be invented in the future. Something else I would include in a laptop if I could is a touch-screen feature. It already exists, but I find touch screen a bit annoying if you have no other choice. Pressing actual buttons is much better sometimes. It would be perfect if you could press a button for touch screen, and press it again to turn it off. It would give you a nice break from tapping on a screen every day. Nothing is more annoying to me than when I'm working difficult on something, and I'm almost done, and then my laptop dies. Laptops would be much better if they never ran out of battery power and you never had to charge them. I'm pretty sure that is impossible right now, but I'm sure someone will invent it in the future. Another idea of mine is to make every programs on other types of computers compatible with programs of their nice on other computers. For example: I'm on my home computer typing something for a project and I send it to myself to print at school, since I don't have a printer. The next day I go to receive it out of my inbox and print it, but it doesn't work because WordPad and NeoOffice aren't compatible. You could always copy and glue your work into the message instead, but that messes it up when you glue it back into another program and you'd have to fix everything before you print it. Who wants to go through that just to hand in an assignment? Also, the price of most laptops nowadays is insane. Eventually, almost everyone is going to need a computer for one reason or another, and a lot of people can't afford them. More and more people are needing them, and the prices are going up. And thats every. I know it sucks but I started it like 20 minutes ago and i will be doing some serious revising. as soon as i know what the heck im doing for an ending. Im also not very good at starting paragraphs, so if you could help with those id be extremley grateful. and tell me what you think of the idea in general. thanks :)

Can someone please revise my essay i am in dying need of someone to do this first person to answer and who would actually punctuate add things etc will receive best answer thank you! My Essay: Most American teens don’t realize what they have and what others don’t they usually care about their self. Some teens actually do care and actually try to help cease poverty in the world or help somebody or donate something. And us teens have opportunity to receive anything we want while others don’t. Hopefully any other teen can have the same opportunity as us. Throughout the world technology has become a major issue. Most American teens have access to the internet, cell phones, computers, etc. And we have more advanced technologies then other countries and places. Some countries don’t even know what technology is they have never heard of the internet, a computer, or cell phones. So we are more than lucky to have this chance to have the access to this nice of technology that we use in our every day lives. Education is also another advantage we have some countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, and some countries in Africa don’t have very much educational schools. Some schools have been burned down, blown up, destroyed by riots, terrorist acts, or there is just no money to even make a new school. And in some of those schools you have to pay to receive a education some parents don’t have money to send their kids to school, lucky for us we don’t have to pay to receive a education we receive free schooling for public schools. But we have to pay for private school and college. But other then that we should be treating this opportunity that people would die for fairly good. We also have shelter which is also a advantage that we have. Places like Sudan and Zimbabwe they every live in slums they have no running water, tv, or any source of entertainment they also have no food. We should be so grateful that we have food every time when we eat every of the kids and adults are starving in other countries. And for their shelter they just have a few sheets of sheet metal and sand to live inside. While we have cozy beds, a warm home, food, and most importantly a home! Just a few weeks ago a devastating earthquake happened in Haiti every of those people lost their homes and everything they owned. We have technology to look if we have a earthquake coming in a week or two they don’t have that type on technology. We should be grateful for every of these things we have! So will any other teen receive a chance as lucky as us? Will they ever witness every the amazing things we have? We don’t know because there hasn’t been a change no person has stood up to say “yeah I will go to so and so and make schools”. Or anything that would help them in that stage! Hopefully there will be a chance for everybody out there.

Open Question: Is it possible to have two internal hard drives with different versions of the same OS?

What happened was, I recently...destroyed the computer I use for personal entertainment(gaming,movies,music) and have been using the computer I use for my home business. Is it possible for me to take the difficult steer from the personal computer and put in the business computer and use both difficult disks? Like for example, choosing which one to boot from at start up Business Computer OS: Windows 7 Home Premium Personal Computer's OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
